If you wish to advertise a dance class or dance school, and have weekly inserts in the monthly gig guides, please contact me regarding pricing and what I need from you.

There is a free listing at the end of the current monthly gig guide, which I keep as up to date as I can. However, as I don't go to Ballroom or Swing Classes, or Modern Jive classes, and live on the Gold Coast, I rely on others to tell me when the information needs updating. If you see an entry that is out of date, please let me know so I can amend it.

Brisbane Sunday Social Dance Club Inc. (New Vogue / Old Time Dancing)

is a not for profit club, celebrating 30 years of sequence ballroom dancing in 2023.

Venue: Holland Park State High School Hall, Bapaume Rd, Holland Park

(Venue: Holland Park (SHS) Hall, entry opposite 118 Bapaume Rd, Holland Park West

We dance on the 2nd and 4th Sunday in the month with live music by Walter Willans, with occasional guest musicians several times a year.

5:00pm free lesson (when available) & 5:30-8:30pm without lessons.  

$10 members / $12 non-members. ALL WELCOME.

BYO eats/drinks, hot water available.

- Our Mission: Promote social ballroom sequence dancing in Brisbane & surrounding areas, by providing a welcoming environment for dancers to come together to enjoy social interaction, physical exercise & mental stimulation.

- 5pm lessons are only available when long-term resident teachers Alan and Lynelle are available - therefore, dancers need to to check fortnightly programs to ascertain a 5pm start time with lesson OR 5:30pm start time without a lesson.

- Upsoming programs with a minii-newsletter are emailed to members / visitors fortnightly, following each dance.

- Walter Willans has been our resident musician for more than 25 years, when absent several times a year - we engage guest musicians, & CD music is rarely provided.

- Large timber floor with inner and outer circles for alternative club & well known dances - ample off road parking.
